Fluffy Pogaca (peasant Buns)

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup milk, warmed
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup mineral water
- 1/2 bunch parsley
- 1 1/2 cups feta cheese
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
Recipe
- 1 mix sugar and yeast with milk.
- 2 combine flour, oil, salt, and mineral water in large bowl.
- 3 add milk mixture and mix well. you can add a little more flour or mineral water if either of them is not enough. you should have a pliable and nonsticky dough.
- 4 cover with moist cloth and let rest for 45 minute.
- 5 chop the parsley and mix it with cheese.
- 6 preheat oven to 350 degrees f or 180 degrees celsius.
- 7 take a small piece of dough and flatten with your hands.
- 8 put a teaspoon of cheese mixture on it , close up folding the edges upwards like a bundle, and repeat with remaining dough.
- 9 place a parchment paper on a baking sheet and place the pogacas on it.
- 10 the folded side of pogacas should be at the bottom to have a ball shape.
- 11 coat each with egg yolk and a sprinkle of poppy seeds.
- 12 bake about 30 minutes, or until they get golden.
