Chocolate - Espresso Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/3 cup whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons instant espresso powder
  • 8 ounces best-quality bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces

Recipe

  • 1 bring water, cream, sugar and espresso powder to simmer in medium saucepan, stirring occasionally.
  • 2 reduce heat to low.
  • 3 add chocolate and butter and whisk until melted and smooth.
