Coffee Cake

Ingredients
- Servings: 9
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sacaryl dry sweetener (or 12 tabs, crushed)
- 2 (1/4 ounce) packages instant yeast
- 1/2 cup lukewarm water
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
- cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 scald milk, add butter, salt and sweetener.
- 2 stir until butter is melted and cool to lukewarm.
- 3 dissolve yeast in warm water and add to milk mixture.
- 4 add eggs and flour and mix well.
- 5 pour into a greased 9x9-inch pan.
- 6 cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled.
- 7 scatter the nuts over the top and dust with cinnamon.
- 8 bake in preheated 400°f oven.
