Doggie Biscuits

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon instant bouillon granules
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 (3 1/2 ounce) jar bacon bits
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • 2 in a medium bowl, dissolve boullon in the hot water.
  • 3 add remaining ingredients, stirring until well blended.
  • 4 on a lightly floured surface, use a floured rolling pin to roll out dough to 1/8 inch thickness.
  • 5 use a bone shaped cookie cutter to cut out dough.
  • 6 transfer to a greased cookie sheet.
  • 7 bake 30 to 35 minutes or until firm.
  • 8 transfer to a rack to cool completely.
  • 9 store in an airtight container.
