Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon instant bouillon granules
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 (3 1/2 ounce) jar bacon bits
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- 2 in a medium bowl, dissolve boullon in the hot water.
- 3 add remaining ingredients, stirring until well blended.
- 4 on a lightly floured surface, use a floured rolling pin to roll out dough to 1/8 inch thickness.
- 5 use a bone shaped cookie cutter to cut out dough.
- 6 transfer to a greased cookie sheet.
- 7 bake 30 to 35 minutes or until firm.
- 8 transfer to a rack to cool completely.
- 9 store in an airtight container.
