Cinnamon Nut Buns

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons milk
Recipe
- 1 mix and knead all dough ingredients together to make a smooth dough.
- 2 cover and let raise for 1 hour until puffy.
- 3 roll the dough into an 18" x 18" rectangle.
- 4 mix filling ingredients together. lightly brush dough with milk and then spread with the prepared filling, leaving an uncovered strip about 1" wide along one end.
- 5 roll tightly into a log, starting with filling-covered end and opposite the unfilled end.slice the log onto 12 pieces. place slices onto a lightly greased wells of a muffin pan.cover and let the buns rise until puffy, about 60 minutes.
- 6 bake the buns in a preheated 350`f oven for 20 to 24 minutes, until they're a light golden brown remove from the oven.
- 7 just before serving mix topping ingredients together until smooth. spoon over the buns.
