Ground Beef Shepherd's Pie

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef gravy
  • 1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups mashed potatoes (i use instant, boxed)
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef gravy, for topping

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, cook the beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  • 2 stir in the gravy, vegetables, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • 3 transfer to a 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
  • 4 spread mashed potatoes over the top.
  • 5 bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until heated through.
  • 6 when serving, place 'spoonful' of gravy on top of each individual portion.
