Ground Beef Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef gravy
- 1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables, drained
- 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 1/2 cups mashed potatoes (i use instant, boxed)
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef gravy, for topping
Recipe
- 1 in a large skillet, cook the beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
- 2 stir in the gravy, vegetables, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
- 3 transfer to a 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
- 4 spread mashed potatoes over the top.
- 5 bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until heated through.
- 6 when serving, place 'spoonful' of gravy on top of each individual portion.
