Cheesy Mashed Potatoes Piping Hot From The Oven

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 (7 1/4 ounce) box roasted instant mashed potatoes (betty crocker brand)
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar french-fried onions
- 3/4 cup salsa (any variety)
- 3 tablespoons sliced ripe olives or 3 tablespoons green chilies, chopped (optional)
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Recipe
- 1 pre-heat oven to 425f.
- 2 follow the instructions on the box and prepare the potatoes for 2 pouches or 8 servings.
- 3 mix in 3/4 cup of the onions.
- 4 once you have this mixture ready, grease a 2 qt.
- 5 baking dish.
- 6 then, spread this mixture in it.
- 7 top with salsa, onions, olives and chives.
- 8 bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until the onions turn golden in colour.
- 9 remove from the oven and serve hot with sour cream and chopped fresh cilantro!
