Best Bacon/cheese Grits

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 lb bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups cubed velveeta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon bacon grease
  • 4 cups cooked grits (regular/not instant)
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook the grits according to package directions.
  • 2 add the bacon, cheese and bacon grease.
  • 3 keep stirring over low heat until the cheese melts; serve while hot.
