Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (7 ounce) package caramels
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, divided
  • 1 9-inch chocolate pie crust
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup fudge sauce

Recipe

  • 1 using a heavy saucepan, heat caramels and evaporated milk over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
  • 2 add 1/2 c chopped pecans.
  • 3 pour into pie crust.
  • 4 add cream cheese, sour cream, and milk in a blender and process until smooth.
  • 5 add pudding and blend about 30 seconds more.
  • 6 pour pudding mixture over caramel mixture in pie pan evenly.
  • 7 chill loosely covered, about 15-20 minutes.
  • 8 drizzle fudge topping over pie and sprinkle with remaining pecans.
  • 9 chill loosely covered until ready to serve.
