Amish Friendship Bread (lower Fat)

Ingredients
- 1 cup amish starter
- 3/4 cup applesauce
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 (5 ounce) packages vanilla instant pudding mix (you can change the flavor of the recipe by changing the flavor of pudding)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 1. preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- 2 2. mix bread ingredients in a non-metal bowl. do not use any metal implements to mix the batter.
- 3 3. grease 2 large loaf pans and dust them with 1/2 the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
- 4 4. pour the batter evenly into the pans and sprinkle with the remaining sugar/cinnamon mixture.
- 5 5. bake for 1 hour. cool until the bread loosens from the pan, about 10 minutes.
