Chocoholic's Wickedly Awesome Chocolate Cake With Chocolate Crea

Ingredients

• 8 ounces dark chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup plus 3 tablespoons butter
• 1 1/4 cups cake flour
• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 1 (8 ounce) box instant pudding mix
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 4 large eggs
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2/3 cup milk
• frosting
• 1/2 cup icing sugar
• 3/4 cup cocoa
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 cup milk

Recipe

• 1 melt the chocolate chips with the butter.
• 2 in a medium bowl mix the dry ingredients.
• 3 in a large beat the eggs, oil and vanilla together, it should go thick (allow 3-5 minutes).
• 4 add the vanilla and milk (mix until incorporated).
• 5 gradually add in the dry ingredients and beat together.
• 6 pour the prepared batter into a greased and lined 8 inch square cake tin.
• 7 bake at 350of for 35-45 minutes (or until cooked when tested with a toothpick).
• 8 frosting:.
• 9 mix the sugar and cocoa together and set aside. beat the butter and cream cheese together. add the vanilla, gradually add the sugar/cocoa mix with small amounts of milk until both are incorporated. frost in your cooled cake and enjoy.
