Chicken Chardonnay Stew

Total Time: 2 hrs Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (1 lb) package chicken thigh
  • flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup chardonnay wine
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 (2 g) packet instant chicken bouillon
  • chopped carrot
  • chopped celery
  • chopped onion
  • 1 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 coat chicken in flour mixture.
  • 2 in dutch oven and brown chicken in 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • 3 add more butter as needed.
  • 4 add carrots, onion and celery on top of chicken.
  • 5 add rest of ingredients into dutch oven and bring to a boil.
  • 6 lower heat and simmer 1 hour.
  • 7 remove chicken from liquid and take meat off bones.
  • 8 liquid should be on thick side like stew.
  • 9 add small chicken pieces back into stew.
  • 10 add more flour for thickness or water for less thickness.
  • 11 simmer till vegetables are tender.
