Ginger Glaze

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup dry wine
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard

Recipe

  • 1 beat together all ingredients.
  • 2 simmer over low heat for 5 or 10 minutes.
  • 3 while glaze is still warm, brush it over meat only during the last 15 minutes of cooking, to prevent the sugar in the glaze from burning.
