Chocolate Malted Brownies

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup instant malted milk powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup instant malted milk powder
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 -2 tablespoon milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 melt chocolate in a saucepan or a double boiler over simmering water.
  • 3 remove from heat and set aside.
  • 4 cream butter.
  • 5 add the sugar and the vanilla.
  • 6 beat in the eggs.
  • 7 blend in melted chocolate.
  • 8 sift flour, baking powder, salt, and malted milk powder.

  • 12 bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
