Chocolate Malted Brownies

Ingredients

- 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup instant malted milk powder
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/4 cup instant malted milk powder
- 1 dash salt
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 -2 tablespoon milk
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 melt chocolate in a saucepan or a double boiler over simmering water.
- 3 remove from heat and set aside.
- 4 cream butter.
- 5 add the sugar and the vanilla.
- 6 beat in the eggs.
- 7 blend in melted chocolate.
- 8 sift flour, baking powder, salt, and malted milk powder.
- 9 add to chocolate mixture, stirring well.
