Chocolate Toffee Trifle

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 16 ounces frozen butter pound cake
  • 2 (4 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 cups milk, chilled
  • 12 ounces whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (8 ounce) package toffee pieces (heath bits)

Recipe

  • 1 cut up frozen pound cake into bite sized pieces.
  • 2 mix both packages of chocolate pudding in bowl with 4 cups of chilled milk with wire whisk for 2 minutes until well combined.
  • 3 place half of the pound cake pieces in bottom of trifle bowl.
  • 4 spread half of the pudding over the cake pieces.
  • 5 spread half of the whipped topping over the pudding and sprinkle with half of the toffee bits.
  • 6 repeat layers with the remaining pound cake pieces, pudding, cool whip and top off with the remaining toffee bits!
  • 7 refrigerate until ready to serve!
