Chocolate Trifle

Ingredients

- 3 cups milk
- 2 (6 7/8 ounce) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box brownies
- 4 1/4 ounces chocolate-covered english toffee bars
Recipe
- 1 bake brownies, cool and cut into 1-inch cubes; crush toffee bars.
- 2 beat milk and pudding mixes in a large bowl with wire whisk for 2 minutes, or until blended.
- 3 beat heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla in a metal bowl on medium-high until fluffy and firm.
- 4 place half of the brownies in a (2-qt serving or trifle) bowl.
- 5 top with layers, half of the pudding, half of the whipped cream and half of the crushed toffee bars. repeat the layers.
- 6 refrigerate at least 1 hour. store leftovers in refrigerator.
