Caramel Macchiato Shortbread Bars

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
- 1 teaspoon hot water
- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened (not margarine)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups hershey skor english toffee bits
Recipe
- 1 dissolve coffee in hot water.
- 2 beat butter, coffee and sugar until fluffy.
- 3 stir together flour and toffee bits.
- 4 mix into butter mixture the flour and toffee bits half a cup at a time until combined.
- 5 press dough into a 9x13-inch pan.
- 6 bake in 350°f oven for about 20 minutes or until golden.
- 7 remove from oven and cool in pan.
- 8 cut into bars and enjoy.
