Caramel Macchiato Shortbread Bars

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
  • 1 teaspoon hot water
  • 1 1/2 cups butter, softened (not margarine)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 cups hershey skor english toffee bits

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve coffee in hot water.
  • 2 beat butter, coffee and sugar until fluffy.
  • 3 stir together flour and toffee bits.
  • 4 mix into butter mixture the flour and toffee bits half a cup at a time until combined.
  • 5 press dough into a 9x13-inch pan.
  • 6 bake in 350°f oven for about 20 minutes or until golden.
  • 7 remove from oven and cool in pan.
  • 8 cut into bars and enjoy.
