Flank Steak With Peppers And Soy Sauce

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 4 cups cooked rice (i use instant rice, or brown)
- 4 teaspoons canola oil
- 1 1/4 lbs flank steaks, thinly sliced
- 4 large assorted bell peppers (any color)
- 1 large onion, sliced into half moons
- 4 garlic cloves, sliced
- 5 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
Recipe
- 1 cook rice according to directions, when finished put in a casserole dish.
- 2 heat 2 teaspoons canola oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3 add beef and cook until browned.
- 4 drain meat and transfer to casserole dish, lying over the rice.
- 5 heat 2 teaspoons canola oil in same skillet.
- 6 add peppers, onion and garlic and cook until peppers and onion is soft.
- 7 transfer to casserole dish, lying over the meat.
- 8 drizzle with soy sauce, can adjust amount if needed.
- 9 if necessary, you can put the casserole dish in oven on 200 to keep warm until ready to serve.
- 10 salt and pepper to taste.
