Fruit Salad With Pretzel Topping

Ingredients
- 3 cups pretzels, broken into small pieces
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups whipped topping, thawed
- 8 ounces pineapple, crushed, drained well
- 2 (11 ounce) cans mandarin oranges, crushed, drained well
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 450 and line a jelly roll pan with foil.
- 2 for topping:.
- 3 place broken pretzels on pan.
- 4 mix melted butter and brown sugar together.
- 5 dump over pretzels.
- 6 stir until well coated.
- 7 bake 5 minutes.
- 8 cool and break apart.
- 9 for salad:.
- 10 mix pudding and buttermilk together in large bowl.
- 11 fold in whipped topping, pineapple and mandarin oranges.
- 12 cover top of salad with pretzel topping just before serving.
