Chocolate Mint Freeze

Total Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (4 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

Recipe

  • 1 in large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes, let stand for two minutes or until soft set.
  • 2 stir in chocolate chips.
  • 3 in small mixing bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken.
  • 4 add peppermint extract, beat until soft peaks form.
  • 5 fold into pudding.
  • 6 transfer to ungreased 8 inch square dish.
  • 7 cover and freeze for two hours or until firm.
  • 8 remove from freezer 15 minutes prior to serving and cut into squares.
