Applesauce Cake

Ingredients

• 1 (18 1/4 ounce) box yellow cake mix
• 1 (3 1/2 ounce) package vanilla instant pudding mix
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 cup applesauce
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 4 eggs
• 1/2 cup water

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
• 2 grease and flour (i use bakers joy) 3 8x4 inch loaf pans or 1 bundt cake pan.
• 3 in a large bowl, stir together cake mix, pudding mix, nutmeg and cinnamon.
• 4 add applesauce, oil, eggs and water.
• 5 beat with electric mixer for 3-4 minutes.
• 6 pour into prepared pans/pan.
• 7 bake for 50-55 minutes for loaf pan or 1 hour for bundt pan or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
• 8 cool in pan.
• 9 no frosting needed, can sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
