Easy Shepherds Pie

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (20 ounce) box instant mashed potatoes (8 serving size)
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (8 ounce) can beef gravy
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- salt
- pepper
- paprika
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325'f.
- 2 use vegetable spray on casserole dish.
- 3 prepare instant mashed potatoes following box directions.
- 4 boil frozen vegetables in saucepan.
- 5 brown ground beef.
- 6 add 1/2 can of beef gravy.
- 7 add garlic powder.
- 8 stir until well blended.
- 9 drain vegetables.
- 10 add the beef mixture to casserole dish.
- 11 add the vegetables and spread evenly.
- 12 add large spoonfuls of the mashed potatoes
- 13 over the vegetables.
- 14 wait a few minutes for potatoes to cool before spreading.
- 15 make a design with bottom of fork on the potatoes.
- 16 sprinkle some paprika.
- 17 bake for 30 minutes.
- 18 cool for 15 minutes before slicing.
- 19 add remaining warmed gravy to each serving.
