Cinnamon-coffee Pecans

Total Time: 34 mins Preparation Time: 9 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 dash salt

Recipe

  • 1 spread pecans in an ungreased roasting pan or 15x10-inch jelly roll pan.
  • 2 bake at 350 for 10 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes.
  • 3 combine sugar and remaining 4 ingredients in a saucepan.
  • 4 cook over medium-low heat until sugar and coffee dissolve, stirring often.
  • 5 add pecans, and cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • 6 remove from heat.
  • 7 spread pecans in ungreased pan.
  • 8 bake at 300 for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
  • 9 cool completely; store in an airtight container.
